What is portrait photography? 
Portrait photography is the art of capturing individuals or groups, highlighting their unique characteristics, expressions, and personalities in a visually appealing and artistic manner.
What sets professional portrait photography apart from amateur snapshots? 
Professional portrait photography goes beyond basic snapshots by utilizing technical expertise, creative composition, lighting techniques, and professional equipment to create stunning, high-quality images that truly showcase the subject's beauty and character.
What is your experience as a photographer? 
Well I started shooting long time ago, I studied also advertising communication, graphic design, photography and art direction. I began shooting almost 18 years ago and have worked with a lot of people, models, artists and creatives since then. My clients often mention how easy it is to work with me and how comfortable they feel during my shootings, no to mention how satisfied the are after seeing their portraits.
Do I need to have experience in front of the camera? 
No you don't I can guide you thru the session, and I know lots of techniques to help you master your session, and by the end you will feel like an expert. I love to work with all sorts of people, no matter their experience, origins or gender. Everyone is welcome to work with me.
What is the typical process for booking a portrait session? 
The booking process usually involves contacting the photographer to discuss availability, session details, pricing, and any specific requirements. A date and location will be scheduled, no deposit needed to reserve the session.
What should I consider when selecting a location for my portrait session? 
When choosing a location, think about the desired atmosphere, backdrop, and whether it aligns with your vision. Discuss options with the photographer, considering both indoor and outdoor settings that reflect your personality or the desired theme. My style of photography is generally in studio/atelier or outdoors.
What should I wear for a portrait session? 
Clothing choices depend on the purpose and style of the portraits. It's recommended to wear outfits that make you feel comfortable and confident. Coordinating colours, avoiding busy patterns, brands, logos, preferable wear colours and not just black or white, and considering the location or theme are essential factors to discuss with the photographer.
How long does a typical portrait session last? 
The duration of a portrait session varies based on various factors such as the type of session, the number of subjects, location changes, and specific requests. On average, sessions can range from 1 to 3 hours. For more details see prices and conditions.
Can I bring props or accessories to my portrait session? 
Absolutely! Props and accessories can add personality and uniqueness to your portraits. Discuss any ideas or specific items you'd like to include with the photographer to ensure they align with the overall vision.
Is there a make up artist during the shooting? Do I need to make my own make up
Make up artists are not included in the sessions, naturally I can arrange one for you since I work with some of the best make up artists in the business, we simple need to discuss your budget. 
Of course you can do your own make up, I always suggest a base natural make up, since I retouch the pictures and I can add on whatever is needed after.
Make sure your hairstyle suitable before coming to the shooting, if you need to get a haircut make sure. It is important that you feel at easy and happy with your hairstyle before the session.
How many images will I receive from my portrait session? 
The number of images can vary depending on the package or session agreement. Photographers typically provide a selection of carefully edited and retouched images that meet their quality standards and reflect the best moments captured during the session. For more details see prices and conditions.
What is the turnaround time for receiving my final edited images? 
The turnaround time can vary depending on my workload and post-processing workflow. It's common to expect a range of 1-7 days for the delivery of the final edited images. I will communicate the estimated timeline with you, but it is also detailed in the shooting package you chose. Please be aware that I only deliver pictures once the package fee has been paid in full. Right after the shooting you will receive an invoice by email with my account details, once you have made the transfer, and I have finished the retouching you will receive a WeTransfer link for you to download the final pictures.
Can I request specific edits or retouching for my portraits? 
Yes, you can discuss any specific editing or retouching preferences with me. I have an experience of more than 15 years retouching pictures and it goes hand in hand with my photography style, I don't apply "filters" as you would on a mobile phone, each image is carefully manually retouched by me to ensure the best possible quality. 
Can I share my shooting with a friend or a college?
Yes you can, but only for specific shooting packages.For more details see prices and conditions. 
Do you also do couples shooting or best friends shooting?
While generally my clients do not request it, if you ask me of course I can do it, it is always fun to work with couples. If that is the case let me know and I can send you a special offer, since this sort of shootings are not listed on my site.
Can I bring a chaperone or a friend along with me during the shooting?
Yes, if it makes you feel more comfortable you may bring someone with you. Just make sure the person who comes along is someone relaxed and who makes you feel at easy.
Can I order prints or albums of my portraits through the photographer? 
While I don't offer directly a printing service, I can assist you or even arrange it for you upon request. Discuss the options and pricing with me to choose the best way to display and preserve your portraits.
Are there any additional fees or costs I should be aware of? 
It's important to clarify all fees and costs upfront to avoid any surprises. In my case all the fees and costs are listed in each shooting package. For more details see prices and conditions. Some additional costs may include travel expenses outside of Vienna, special location fees, extra retouching, or additional prints beyond the package. Discuss these details with me before booking.
How do I pay for the shooting? Do I need to make a deposit to ensure the session?
For artists, business and dance/theater shootings I do not request a deposit.
For fashion, advertising, business and social branding shootings, a deposit of 50% of the fee will be requested, only then I can ensure the booking.
I would like to give a shooting to someone special as a present/voucher, can I do that?
Absolutely, in fact shooting vouchers make great birthday and Christmas, or any special occasions presents. Simple let me know what shooting package you would like to give as a present, transfer the fee on time and I can send you a specially designed voucher to print at home. I guarantee your special person will be thrilled!
What happens if I need to reschedule or cancel my portrait session? 
My rescheduling and cancellation policies allows you to cancel or reschedule a shooting latest 24 hours prior shooting date. Reschedules are at no charge. Cancellations within 24 hours will be charged 50% of the chosen package.
